Home page

This is the main page of your website where you can introduce your farm, services and alpacas. You’ll want to welcome your visitors and give an overview of your farm and what you offer.

While the home page is often the page that a site visitor will arrive at first, sometimes they may enter your site via another page. This is possible with all our websites, since every page is optimized to show up when people are looking for something online that matches what you offer on your website. (See Search Engine Optimization) For example, if someone is searching for very specific traits in an alpaca and you offer an alpaca with those traits, that specific alpaca’s page may show up rather than your home page. This is beneficial because it allows them to see the information they are most interested in first. They can then navigate around your site as they wish.

It’s simply a good idea to keep in mind that people can enter your site through other pages, though your home page will most often be the first page people encounter.
