(If you don’t have one, let us know and we can work with you to create your alpaca farm logo.)

3. Pages and content. If you have a clear idea of the pages you want to appear on your website, we will incorporate those into the navigation on your alpaca website. Some pages commonly used are: Home, Alpacas for Sale, Bloodlines, About Us, and Contact Us.

We’ll need the text you want to appear on each of these pages. We have specialized copywriters who can provide full copywriting or editing of text on your alpaca web site. Files with site content should be saved in Windows compatible format, e.g. MS Word, Notepad, HTML, etc. We can open most Windows based word processing documents. Please verify acceptable formats with us prior to building or sending files.

4. Contact information. This will appear on your alpaca website, to make it easy for people to contact you: Name, Address, Phone number, Fax Number, Email address, City, State, Zip. (If international: City, Province/Region, Postal ID.)

5. Alpaca pictures. Be sure to save these as either .jpg or .gif images. (Images will be resized to fit pages. The larger the picture you provide, the higher quality it will appear.)

Files should be named to match the information about the alpaca (example: A picture of a Male Suri Alpaca Studmaster™ named Randy should have the file name: “male-suri-Studmaster-randy.jpg”).

6. Alpaca info. All information/bios/description/pedigrees pertaining to the individual alpacas should be saved into one document. (Example: If 20 alpacas are to be displayed on a site, please provide us with one document that contains 20 paragraphs following this order of description:

7. Ongoing Website Maintenance. Now is also the time to plan how to keep your site updated. 8. Additional materials. You may wish to plan for alpaca farm business cards or other print materials like letterhead that match your web design. We recommend you have a marketing program in place before your alpaca web site goes live, so you can start taking advantage of all the business opportunities right away.
